We believe in giving back. A portion of the proceeds from every book sold goes to selected charities. There are two organizations currently receiving help from you through these sales, and they are:
Kenya Kids Can
Mission and Vision
The mission of Kenya Kids Can is to enhance the education of Kenyan students by providing meals and computer training to impoverished schools. The vision of the organization is to see the next generation of leaders grow physically strong, spiritually generous, technically knowledgeable and ready to change the world.
Why a school lunch program and a computer program?
“It is our goal to enhance the education of Kenyan students, not to replace what the country of Kenya is already doing with its children. Because of this, we do not provide math teachers, classroom buildings, etc. Instead, we work within the current infrastructure to strengthen it. The school lunch program draws children to school and makes learning possible, as chronically hungry children have a hard time focusing and learning. The computer program teaches skills not currently offered in these schools, and broadens future education and employment options.”

Snowball Express
Mission Statement: To Honor America’s fallen military service members
Snowball Express honors America’s fallen military service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice since 9/11 by
- ♦ Humbly serving the families they left behind
- ♦ Championing their children’s future success by creating opportunities for joy, friendship, and communal healing
- ♦ Connecting these families to one another
Since 2006, the mission of Snowball Express has been a simple, yet profoundly important one: Providing hope and new happy memories to the children of military fallen heroes who have died while on active duty since 9/11. In December each year we bring children together from all over the world for a four-day experience filled with fun activities, like sporting events, dances, amusement parks and more.
Nationally, Snowball Express provides comprehensive support programs for fallen families that are focused on transition and connections to community resources, healing and wellness, peer engagement, education and personal/professional development programs.
Snowball Express is now a Gary Sinise Foundation program!
